MD Imaging has been serving patients and physicians for almost two decades. With three locations in Fort Wayne, patients in the area have convenient access to one of our sites offering MRI and Open MRI, ultrasound, CT, DEXA, X-ray and mammography. Keeping up with the most current technology in equipment, training, insurance and service, our goal is to give patients the best, most comfortable imaging experience possible.

MD Imaging is proud to be one of the first mammography centers in the area to add Full Field Digital Mammography for our patients. This state-of-the-art digital technology offers less time waiting for the development of images and enables electronic archiving of films for immediate transmission if necessary. Distinguishing more shades of gray than film mammography, full field digital mammography can provide better detection and diagnostic capabilities for women with dense breasts. It is also the perfect complement to our computer-aided detection system (CAD), another innovation MD Imaging has used for some time. The CAD system actually obtains a second, computerized reading and is found to detect more cancers. Understanding that most women do not look forward to their annual mammogram, it’s great to know that MD Imaging is doing everything we can to make that one mammogram a year really count.
